12-Volt Battery Charge Warning Light

The 12-volt battery charge warning light looks like the outline of a battery with a minus sign on the left and a plus sign on the right. This can indicate that the vehicle's DC/DC converter, which converts 400-volt lithium-ion battery voltage to power the 12-volt battery, is malfunctioning.

Keep in mind that the 12-volt battery should not be charged while this warning light is on because it could cause further damage to this converter system. If this light is illuminated, you should stop driving immediately and contact our service center for help.

Electronic Shift Control System Warning Light

The electric shift control system warning light is a gear with an exclamation mark in the middle of it. This system regulates the intensity and timing for gear shifting within the transmission.

When it is not operating properly, you could experience jerkiness or hesitation when shifting between drive and the parking brake. This could cause a hazard while driving as it can be difficult to prevent collisions with other vehicles if your vehicle's movements cannot be controlled.

Electric Vehicle System Warning Light

The warning light that has an outline of a car with and exclamation mark in the middle is the Electric Vehicle system warning light. This light can come on whenever there is a problem with one of the following systems:

  • Lithium-ion battery system
  • On-board charger
  • Cooling system
  • Traction motor and inverter system
  • Shift control system
  • Emergency shut off system is on

READY to Drive Indicator Light

When you've been charging your vehicle and it's ready to roll, you'll see the READY to drive light come on. This indicator light looks like a car icon with a double arrow beneath it.

Master Warning Light

The master warning light consists of a triangle with an exclamation mark in its center. This light can shine in yellow or red when it illuminates and may sometimes accompany other warning lights.

When the master warning light displays in red, there is a problem that requires you to immediately pull over and seek help. The yellow light shines when a non-urgent issue has been identified. You may be able to continue driving to your destination at the time, but you should seek service as soon as possible to resolve it.
