To help you decide if this new SUV has what it takes to accompany you on your next adventure, our team here at Stateline Nissan has created this helpful guide. Inside, you’ll also learn more about what this fuel-efficient crossover can do.

Fuel Economy and Power

2019 Nissan Rogue Sport

The 2019 Nissan Rogue gets a standard EPA-estimated 26 MPG city and 33 MPG highway.1

Under the hood, it’s outfitted with a 2.5L DOHC 4-cylinder engine that turns out 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. It’s partnered up with an Xtronic CVT®, which provides seamless shifting for a more comfortable ride. Most importantly, however, this transmission increases fuel efficiency.

If you want the capability that you’ve come to expect from an SUV, you’ll get it with the Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system. It utilizes front-wheel drive to increase efficiency. Once it senses a loss of traction, however, it can intuitively divert power to the wheels with the most grip.

Hybrid Efficiency

The available hybrid system increases the MPG rating of the new Rogue. The system consists of a 2.0L DOHC 4-cylinder engine and an electric motor that utilizes a dual clutch system and a lithium-ion battery to produce 30 kW of power. The hybrid system cranks out a total of 176 horsepower.

The Rogue gets an EPA estimated 33 MPG city and 35 MPG highway1 with this hybrid configuration.

Plus, the available Engine Idle Start/Stop will increase this SUV’s efficiency even further. It will shut down the engine when you’re stopped, and then start it right back up again when you’re ready to begin moving. It can even reduce the engine to an idle while you’re cruising, to save even more fuel.

How Much Can It Handle?

2019 Nissan Rogue Sport

There’s seating for up to five passengers and a total passenger volume of 105.8 cubic feet. Features like the available Dual-Zone Climate Control and standard Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ are there to keep everyone comfortable and connected, as well.

When you need to pack up for a road trip, the available motion-activated liftgate makes it easy to load everything inside even when your hands are full.
