2021 Nissan Pathfinder Preview

Nissan Pathfinder

The 2021 Nissan Pathfinder is due to hit dealership lots soon. As off-road adventurers and large families wait with bated breath, our team at Stateline Nissan has the inside scoop.1

Are you wondering what exactly the new Nissan Pathfinder will bring to the streets and back roads around East Providence, Cranston, and Pawtucket, RI? Our Nissan dealership has the most up-to-date information. Let’s dive in!

What’s the Interior of the 2021 Pathfinder Like?

Nissan PathfinderWe expect the interior of the new Pathfinder to come with a few changes to make it even more comfortable than the previous model. You can expect to find leather-trimmed seats in the higher trim levels and a 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat that will help you personalize your support.

There will be plenty of room spread across the three rows of seats. You’ll have seating for up to seven in the 2021 Nissan Pathfinder and over 42 inches of head and legroom up front. The folks in the second row can also expect over 30 inches of legroom.

If you’re carrying lots of cargo for a camping trip or on your way home from the mall, there will be plenty of storage space in this new SUV. There will be over 16 cubic feet behind the third row, but you’ll be able to lower the rear seats to expand that storage space to more than 79 cubic feet.

Will the 2021 Nissan Pathfinder Have an Infotainment System?

Nissan PathfinderYou can expect the NissanConnect® infotainment system to at least be an available feature in the new Pathfinder. If it follows in the footsteps of last year’s model, it will come with an 8-inch touchscreen, so you can access the following features:

Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ will put your favorite smartphone apps and your most popular playlists right at your fingertips. We expect that the Bose® Premium Audio System will be available on higher trim levels, so when your favorite song comes on, you can have a road-trip singalong.

If you need a little help finding your way to the trails or while cruising to your next road-trip destination, the Pathfinder will most likely offer the Nissan Navigation System. If it comes with Premium Traffic, you’ll be able to find your way around congestion.

2021 Nissan Pathfinder Performance

Nissan PathfinderWe expect the standard 3.5L Direct Injection Gasoline (DIG) V6 engine from last year’s model to carry over to 2021. It generates 284 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque. All that power will help you tow heavy loads, so you can bring a camper out to the woods or take your jet ski down to the bay.

The rumor is that the Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission) from last year’s model will be swapped out for a 9-speed automatic transmission. This will help you better utilize the strength of that V6 engine.

When it’s time for the Pathfinder to live up to its name, take it out onto the trails. Its available Intelligent 4×4 system is ready to answer the demands of all-terrain trails and slick streets. Shift into front-wheel drive on a dry, clear day to boost fuel economy.

Are You Ready for the Arrival of the Nissan Pathfinder?

Now that you have a better idea of what the 2021 Nissan Pathfinder is capable of, the only thing left to do is wait for its arrival. Then, you can take it to the streets of East Providence, Cranston, and Pawtucket, Rhode Island, to see if it’s truly the right SUV for you.
