Nissan Pathfinder Performance Review
Under the hood, it sports a 3.5L V6 engine that delivers 284 horsepower and 259 lb-ft of torque. This kind of strength helps it tow up to 6,000 pounds when properly equipped. This is enough to take a boat to the cape or tow a small RV on your next wilderness adventure.
You can reach your destination with grace and ease thanks to the available 4-wheel drive (4WD) system with selectable drive modes. Choose full-time 2-wheel drive (2WD) to maximize efficiency during clear-weather driving and highway cruising.
If you encounter tougher terrain like snow, gravel, or grass, switch to 4WD to maximize handling capabilities. Or, let your Pathfinder do the work for you and select Auto Mode. This mode will actively monitor your driving conditions and automatically switch between 2WD and 4WD to suit your needs.
2019 Pathfinder Seating and Dimensions
You can bring everyone along for the fun in the Nissan Pathfinder with enough seating for seven passengers. Climbing into the third row is convenient, as well, with the available LATCH AND GLIDE® second-row seats that slide forward while remaining upright to create an easy passthrough.
With a full car, you can bring along 16.2 cubic feet of luggage. Fold down the third row and you’ll have access to a 47.4-cubic-foot cargo area. With both rear seats folded down to create a flat load surface, you’ll have a total of 79.5 cubic feet of cargo space to pack up.
As the driver, you can get comfortable for a long ride with an available 10-way power adjustable seat with 2-way power lumbar. Once you find the perfect setting, lock it in with the available driver’s seat and outside mirrors position memory feature. This way, if someone else borrows your car, you can get your seat setting back with just the push of a button.
Technology in the Pathfinder
The 2019 Pathfinder has enough technology to keep everyone entertained during a long road trip. This includes an 8-inch touchscreen in the center stack as part of the NissanConnect® infotainment system. With this system, you can link your smartphone with your car and use the Bluetooth® hands-free phone system to make calls, listen to text messages, or stream music while on-the-go.
Backseat passengers can also enjoy the rear seat entertainment system that installs 8-inch monitors into the back of the first-row headrests. Passengers can watch DVDs or stream from their phones or tablets using HDMI ports. With wireless headsets, all passengers can have a personalized infotainment experience.
