5 Reasons to Attend the PawSox Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival

Want to find the best way to kick off summer? How about a craft beer and food festival on the PawSox field? Yep, you read that right!

On Saturday, September 16th, head on down to McCoy Stadium for the first-ever PawSox Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival. You’ll have fun from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM while saying, “Sayonara” to summer 2017.

But if you needed a few additional reasons why you should attend this awesome event, here are five more we’ve come up with…

1. You’re Basically Making PawSox History.

Well, since this is the first-ever PawSox Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival, we’d say that’s pretty historical, right? You’ll pretty much be in history textbooks after this one.

2. You’ll Have Your Choice Between 10 (We Repeat, 10) Craft Breweries.

Ten craft breweries are participating in this monumental event, and thus, you’ll have many options as to what beer might strike your fancy.

Local breweries like Long Trail, Narragansett, Elysian, and Revival are just a few that are on the list.

3. You’ll Be Completely Stuffed by the Time You Leave.

Along with your choice of 10 breweries, you’ll have double the options when it comes to food, with over 20 (we repeat, 20) food truck options.

If you’re feelin’ some ‘za, check out Jeff’s Wood Fired Pizza truck. Or, maybe a little bit of ice cream will hit the spot from the Like No Udder truck. Whatever type of cuisine you’re in the mood for, there’s bound to be a food truck serving it.

4. Have a Few, Then Get Your Groove On.

The festival will also feature live music, so don’t get a cramp while you get down to your favorite jams.

5. Old-School. Hip-Hop. Videos.

Need we say more? There will actually be real-life old-school hip-hop videos playing on the center field video board. We’re thinking this feature might really bring in the masses. Brush up on your Kris Kross and Run-D.M.C.—we don’t want you embarrassing yourself for forgetting the words.

Essentially, all we’re trying to say is that not attending the PawSox Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival will go into your box of regrets, and we’re just looking out for your best interests.

See you there!
