There are four main 2017 Nissan Murano Trim Levels: the base level is the S, the SV and SL form the mid-range, and the Platinum level tops the options.

Entry S-Level Features

The “base” S-level trim gives you a standard 3.5L V6 engine matched to a CVT, which delivers 260 horsepower. It also gives you 18-inch alloy wheels—something not a lot of base trims offer.

As for infotainment, it offers Bluetooth connectivity, smartphone app integration, a seven-inch color touchscreen for the NissanConnect system, six speakers, a CD player, auxiliary and USB ports, and satellite radio tuner.

At this level, there’s also the option of a Navigation Package that upgrades you to an eight-inch touchscreen with voice commands, a GPS navigation system, an extra USB port. and a HD radio tuner.

SV Mid-Level Trim

The next level up is the SV, which gives you the S-level plus the navigation package. It also provides fog lights, power front seats, roof rails, a remote start, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. There’s also the option of the Premium package, which delivers an 11-speaker Bose system and a panoramic sunroof.

SL Trim

At this level, you get the SV level trim plus the Bose audio. Along with those, you gain heated exterior mirrors, memory settings for the driver seat and mirrors, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alerts, heated front seats, genuine leather upholstery, auto-dim rearview mirrors, a 360-degree parking camera, ambient lighting inside, a power liftgate, and a warning system for drowsy drivers.

Platinum Level Options

The range-topping trim level for the Murano is the Platinum trim. It gives you everything from the above levels, and adds 20-inch wheels, a power-adjust steering wheel, extra memory settings, LED headlights, heated and cooled front seats, and heated power-fold rear seats. Optionally, a Technology package can add the panoramic sunroof from above, plus adaptive cruise control, and frontal crash warning and mitigation via automatic braking.
