When the Comprehensive Community Action Program (CCAP) was incorporated in 1965, they primarily served Cranston, Coventry, and some of the surrounding areas. Their programs quickly spread to communities well beyond that immediate area. Today, they provide services to over 25,000 Rhode Islanders. They supply medical and dental care, substance abuse counseling, childcare, and so much more!

The East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) has been helping the people of our community for over 50 years! They help about 30,000 people each year, making sure their social, emotional, and healthcare needs are met. That way, they can live life to the fullest!
The EBCAP food banks primarily serve East Providence and the surrounding communities. In addition to providing nutritious food to participants, they can also help parents get some of the vital supplies their children need. They’re even able to aid those with special dietary needs!

Rhode Island Community Food Bank
At the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, they want to do more than just feed the people in our area that are hungry. They seek to end hunger altogether. They are well on the way to accomplishing that goal, too!
In addition to providing meals to over 50,000 individuals, the Rhode Island Community Food Bank provides yearly status reports on hunger. Plus, they have created a strategic plan that is specifically designed to help alleviate hunger!
