The 30th Annual Apple Festival is a classic tradition for East Providence residents and the surrounding areas year after year. Over 5,000 people gather for this fun-filled weekend for activities, lives music, and, of course, tons of apple pie.

Location, Dates & Times

The Apple Festival has options for dates and times, so you can work around your family’s crazy, different schedules, and get everyone together for a few hours.

You can attend the Apple Festival on one or both of these days:

  • Saturday, September 16, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Sunday, September 17, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

The event will take place at Johnston Memorial Park, located at 1583 Hartford Avenue in Johnston, RI.

Apple-Infused Activities

You’ll find activities for the whole family at the Apple Festival. The kids will enjoy a Kids Zone, pony rides, and carnival rides, while everyone can take part in the apple pie baking contest while listening to some great live entertainment.

In addition to these activities, you’ll find tons of vendors and bakers throughout the event, so you’ll enjoy a variety of food and sweets to satisfy any craving. Pro tip: Don’t consume too much before getting on the carousel!

You can park for free right at Johnston High School, where a complimentary shuttle service will take you to Johnston Memorial Park.
