The base-level Nissan Altima S offers a lot to its drivers. This includes a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine that produces 188 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque. This vehicle also comes standard with an intuitive NissanConnect® 8-inch touchscreen, which includes connectivity features like Apple CarPlay®.
Finally, this trim also includes driver assistance features like Intelligent Forward Collision Warning and Automatic Emergency Braking.
The SR trim expands upon the features and components featured in the base trim. However, while it includes the same infotainment setup, driver assistance features, and engine specs, it adds more to the style, with 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, LED headlights with a signature, and a dark-chrome V-Motion grille. This trim even adds to the performance with a sport-tuned suspension and paddle shifters with manual shift mode.
The Nissan Altima SV adds a few new components to make it truly stand out. On top of updated driver assistance features like Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection and Intelligent Lane Intervention, this vehicle adds style, too. This includes 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and a power-sliding glass moonroof.
The biggest addition to this trim is ProPILOT™ Assist, which assists you when you’re driving by controlling the vehicle’s speed and distance from other cars, all while ensuring that your vehicle stays in its intended lane.
This Altima trim adds a new engine: a 2.0L Variable Compression Turbo (VC-Turbo™) 4-cylinder engine. This engine can produce between 236 and 248 horsepower and 267 and 273 lb-ft of torque. Due to the upgraded performance, this vehicle brings back the sport-tuned suspension and 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels.
Nissan Altima SL
This Nissan Altima SL trim brings a lot of updated technology to this vehicle. Beyond Nissan Door to Door Navigation with Premium Traffic, you’ll also receive NissanConnect® Services powered by SiriusXM®, which includes complimentary trial access to 3-year Select and 6-month Premium Plus Packages.
This trim adds a lot to the interior as well, including leather-appointed seats and a 9-speaker Bose® Premium Audio System. At the same time, this trim brings back the 2.5L 4-cylinder engine.
Nissan Altima Platinum
The Platinum trim adds a bit of style with 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, and the interior adds accent lighting to set the mood for your journey. The interior also adds a driver’s seat with memory functions, which allow you to set your preferred seating positions, then access them right when you get in.
Meanwhile, the included Intelligent Around View® Monitor provides numerous views on the screen to give you a better picture of surrounding objects when you’re parallel parking or backing up.
The 2.0L VC-Turbo™ engine is back! Beyond that, this trim also adds some of the features and technologies included in the Platinum trim. This includes the aluminum-alloy wheels, interior accent lighting, driver’s seat with memory, and Intelligent Around View® Monitor.
Edition ONE VC-Turbo
The Edition ONE VC-Turbo Altima trim is the highest in the lineup. It offers all the top features that were listed, but goes even further to add a few new ones. This vehicle improves on style with 19-inch dark-gray aluminum-alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, Edition ONE carpeted floor mats, and external ground lighting.
This trim also includes Edition ONE Nissan Concierge service, which will provide travel assistance, restaurant and lodging recommendations, show times, weather forecasts, events, and even appointment reminders.
